Cari Gelle

Vice President
Club member since 2000

Cari has been “roving” her whole life. Growing up with two teachers for parents, every summer was a three-month adventure in a Dodge pick-up camper with fishing boat trailing behind. These journeys took her across North America, camping, hiking, fishing and otherwise exploring the Great Outdoors, from Minnesota to Oregon, Ontario to British Columbia, Wisconsin to Kentucky and back again. After college, business travel to Europe as a retail merchant offered Cari the chance to venture off in the Tuscan Hills in Italy, to seaside fishing villages in Portugal and a few tropical hikes in Hong Kong, Korea and Thailand. These days, Cari enjoys sharing this adventurous spirit with other Rovers and her own kids, by coordinating Boundary Waters canoe trips in the summer and downhill ski/snowboard trips in the winter.
