Skiing, Snowshoeing, or Fat Biking
Depending on weather, we’ll drive up to Hayward either Friday after work or Saturday morning and get the fire going, then play in the snow.
Saturday’s ski options include:
- The North End trails in Cable
- The south end of the Birkie trail (Hatchery Creek Park) in Hayward
- Seeley Ski trails
- Mukwonago trails
Sunday we’ll be participating in the Birkie Tour. The Tour is a lot of fun and a great way to experience the wonderful Birkie Trail system.
If skiing isn’t your thing, there are groomed fat bike trails as well as plenty of places to snowshoe.
Accommodations: Camping or a bunk in a rustic cabin. No running water; to clean up after a long day of skiing, we’ll pay for a shower at a hotel and eat dinner at a local restaurant.
Food: Breakfast (steel cut oats & fixin’s) and coffee provided, bring your own lunch, snacks, beverages, and money for dinner out.
Estimated cost: $20 + Birkie Tour registration and / or other trail fees
