Let’s do a reasonably brisk 5.8-mile hike in Lebanon Hills Regional Park THIS FRIDAY starting promptly at Noon from the Holland Lake trail head parking lot. Let’s plan on a 3+ mile/hour average pace, certainly on the hills, trying not to stop much except as needed or as distracted by the scenery. There’ll be a rest break at the A-frame (and satellite) about mile 4. Water and bathrooms are available at the trail head.
No rain is predicted, so consider the chance to appreciate these trails once more, especially before Saturday, when rain and snow showers will render the hiking far less desirable. Temps could reach 50 F so dress accordingly and bring water and snacks as desired. All well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome. Meet at the Holland Lake trail head (the parking lot is entered at the end of Lexington Avenue off Cliff Road). Plan to be there on time!
