Description:

Hike a 45-50 mile section of the Superior Hiking Trail as peak fall color begins on the North Shore. We will hike between the Finland Rec Center and Oberg Mountain trailheads. Highlights include Crosby-Manitou SP, the Cross, Caribou, and Temperance Rivers, and Carlton and Britton Peaks.

This is not a beginner hike. Participants must have the ability to hike 10-15 miles/day with a pack for 4-5 days. Backpacking experience helpful. No new boots. May increase trip size to 6 if people are willing to share tents. Max 4 tents.
