Join me on Sunday, May 7, from 8 AM – 10 AM for birding& to explore the Rock Island Swing Bridge in Inver Grove Heights and its unique vantage point over the Mississippi river. We will also learn birding tips from a naturalist. This is a Dakota County Parks event. Binoculars provided.
This event is free, but you MUST register with Dakota County Parks and sign their waiver. Click here to register with Dakota County Parks: http://bit.ly/2qvLUJ2 . The registration process is a bit clunky. If the previous link does not bring you right to the event, Enter 111701 in the Activity Number box& then click “search” on the event registration website. This will take you directly to the event registration. They will email you information on location and address.
Let’s meet at 8:00 AM at the Swing Bridge Park Shelter. The swing bridge is near the Mississippi River Trail, so we can decide if we want to do a short hike after birding.
Let me know if you are joining me, so I can look out for you! I will be wearing a green MN Rovers baseball hat. Contact me if you have any questions. Beginners welcome. Children aged 16& over are welcome. Sorry, no pets are allowed. This is a day trip, so MN Rovers membership is not required.
