Any interest in spending a weekend in a Yurt? If so join us for some weather dependent outdoor activities (maybe paddling?!?) at Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area on March 25-27 (Easter weekend). Hiking/skiing/snowshoeing will be at near by Father Hennepin, Mille Lacs Kathio or Crow Wing State Park. Paddling and mountain biking will be at Cuyuna Rec Area. Did I mention activities will be weather dependent? I have reserved two yurts that sleep up to seven and are 350 to 975 feet from parking. Carts are provided for hauling gear. Saturday breakfast and dinner and Sunday breakfast will be group meals. Lunches and snacks on your own. State park stickers required. We’ll hold two spots until February 26 for new Rovers (member one year or less). Contact Kim or Dori for more details and to reserve your spot.
