This trip was originally scheduled for May 21, but rescheduled because of weather.
This casual bike ride will be about 27 miles. From the West High School parking lot in Mankato, we will bike to Minneopa Falls and do a very short hike to the falls. From there we will take a trail to the Red Jacket Bridge. After a brief stop, we will continue to Rapidan and then to Dam Store for pie and/or lunch. The return trip will be on the Red Jacket Trail. We will leave at 10am and return about 2pm. The riding will be mostly trails with an average speed of 10-12 mph. There will be hills! The meeting place will be in the West High School parking lot between the high school and the YMCA off Riverfront Drive (not the one at the front of the high school!).
Remember to bring and wear your helmets. Also bring your bicycle water bottle.
