Stay at Tettegouche State Park (http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/tettegouche/index.html), ride in the Gitchi Gami Trail Annual Bike Ride (if you choose), and explore the North Shore and Tettegouche! Arrive Friday after 4:00 pm, and hike, paddle along the lake shore, take a brisk swim in Lake Superior, or just relax at the group camp. You provide your Friday dinner, and all breakfasts, lunches and snacks. We’ll have a pot-luck dinner on Saturday night. Group gear will include stove, water kettle for hot water, and dishwashing station.
If you want to, register for the Gitchi Gami North Shore Bike Ride (http://www.ggta.org/ride.php) on Saturday, August 19. Last year, there were 28-mi (out and back, so you can turn around at any point), 37-mi, and 55-mi routes. Also, “New this year – a shorter Family Ride. These are lightly supported rides with snacks and water available along the route. Bring a helmet (required) and repair kit. A heads-up: The longer rides are utilize hilly parts of the trail.

Estimated cost includes camp site expenses (about $10) plus your food/gas/etc. You must be a member to sign up, and your membership must be current at the time of the trip.
