Description:

Representing Team Rovers for the third year in a row, it’s a blast, so we’re doing it again!

Stubborn Mule Adventure Race

Three Rovers will be doing the 12-hour race. There is also a 5-hour race and a 30-hour race. Come cheer us on, create your own team, go solo, or just come up and bike or hike on your own on some of the best trails in the Midwest!

Disciplines include:

Flat Water Paddling
Mountain Biking
Orienteering
Road Biking
Trekking
Land Navigation
Team Challenges/Mystery Events

Race fees include land use fees, maps, canoes, paddles and pfds, USARA single day license, post-race food and drink, prizes, and give-a-ways.

We’ll leave the cities after work on Friday, staying at our cabin Friday and Saturday night (we ask for $20 to help with expenses). You’ll be responsible for your own food — plan on going out to a local restaurant Saturday night … assuming we’re out of the woods by then 🙂

Accommodations: Camping or a bunk in a rustic cabin. No running water; to clean up after a long day of biking, we either pay for a shower at a hotel, swim in a lake, or use a portable outdoor shower.
