The MN Rovers are partnering with the Three Rivers Park District for a Garlic Mustard Pull and Harvest at Silverwood Park near 694 and Silver Lake Road. Meet at the Silverwood Visitor Center at 8:45a.m. Dress for the weather and for the work. Expect to get dirty and wear comfortable, sturdy closed-toe shoes with long pants and a long-sleeved shirt. Bring water, a morning snack, if desired, and work gloves (if you have them).
Must be 8 or older to participate. Youths must be accompanied by an adult and must have a permission form filled out. General Info and Youth permission Form.
We will harvest garlic mustard from 9:00 – 12:00 noon, then head to the Silverwood Visitor Center (possibly the most beautiful in the Three Rivers system) for a beverage and snack at their cafe. Silverwood focuses on arts and the environment, so we can also check out their newest Gallery Exhibit. Directions to SIlverwood Park.
