Join us for a fall weekend at Frontenac State Park. A group campsite for 30 Rovers has been reserved. There will be plenty of opportunities for hiking, biking, bird watching, fall color viewing, stargazing with Suresh and more.
For camping meals will include group dinners on Friday and Saturday nights. You’ll need to provide your own breakfast, lunch, and snacks. There will be a pre-trip meeting on Sept. 26 to plan activities and meals and the arrival time. If you’re not interested in camping, join us for the day on Saturday on Sunday.
Email Suresh (use link below) to sign up. Include your phone, nights you will be camping (13th, 14th, or both) or daytrip, carpool interest, and city you live in. Overnight Trip cost – initial deposit $10. Additional costs for group meals and campsite to be determined.
The park is located about 10 miles SE of Red Wing and just outside of the village of Frontenac on Highway 61. Parking is limited – carpooling is strongly recommended!
Note: you must be an active Rover member to camp overnight.
