White Water Paddling and Camping — Yellow Medicine River, Granite Falls, MN

There is to be 1 night of camping at Upper Sioux Agency State Park. White water paddle on Yellow Medicine River. I quote from Paddling Southern MN book. “In its final 10 miles the Yellow Medicine River cuts a deep gorge to the MN River.Freguent class I-II rapids means exciting paddling.” Call or email me for more details.

If interested in carpooling, meet at 8 a.m.on June 3rd at the Macalister parking lot off Snelling just north of the sports fields (next to the building Rover meetings are held during the winter).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
