Punxsutawney Phil and midwest meteorologists may have predicted more winter, but Rovers know how to thrive in the cold. Let’s do so with a Valentine’s Day hike within the beautiful U of MN Landscape Arboretum. We’ll meet outside the front door of the Oswald Visitor Center for a 2-4 pm hike along the picturesque woods, wetlands, and prairie of the Three-Mile-Walk. Trails are paved, brick and gravel.
Advance tickets are strongly encouraged for non-members to ensure entry. $20 pre-ordered, $25 at the gate. If you’re planning to hike only, get the 1:30-2 pm time slot so we can be sure to begin our hike on time.
- Address is 3675 Arboretum Drive, Chaska, MN 55318.
As on option, make a special day of it and arrive early for lunch at Rootstock cafe, or explore the Arboretum’s Annual Spring Flower Show and various gallery exhibits included in the price of entry to the Arboretum. I plan to arrive early for lunch and galleries so please let me know if you’d like to meet up. Send me an email and I’ll look out for you.
