We will paddle 34 miles from County K Landing in Trego to Riverside Landing on the Namekagon River in WI. The Namekagon River has limited development visible from the river, is a fantastic river for viewing and photographing wildlife, and has great primitive campsites. The river is incredibly clear and deep with many swimming holes and a fun current for floating. Observe an intact muscle population and perhaps get a glimpse of the rare and ancient sturgeon. See the root structures of plants along the bank, changing sand and stone patterns along the river bottom, and fish swimming up to you while snorkeling. Regardless of how you enjoy your time on the water, you are almost guaranteed to have eagles dragonflies leading the way. Two spots will be reserved for newer Rovers.
