Hike the Minneapolis Riverfront

Wed, 5:00amJul 72010
Description:

The Minneapolis Riverfront straddles the Mississippi where the river winds through downtown. Combining the eastern side of downtown with portions of the Northeast and Southeast neighborhoods, the Riverfront is one of the most dynamic areas in Minneapolis. This hike includes the Stone Arch Bridge, Nicollet Island, and Boom Island Park. We hike rain or shine. You can leave your boots home for this hike. Optional socializing after the hike. Guests welcome! Bring a friend – Rover membership not required for day trips. Meet at 7:00 p.m. near St. Anthony Main on the corner of Main Street and 3rd Avenue SE near the entrance to St. Anthony Falls Laboratory. There is a big sign identifying the Laboratory. Free street parking within 1 block on local streets. Parking on Main Street is limited and metered, so don’t look for parking on it. | map to meeting location |
