This is a trip to the BWCA and enjoy the wilderness with limited exertion, a get-away trip to decompress – to enjoy the scenery and relax. Leave Twin Cities late afternoon on Thursday, camp out at Temperence River State Park, enter Lake Kawishiwi (entry point 37) on Friday; come out on Monday and head home. Daily activities will be at personal interest and initiative but may include day trips to nearby lakes, read, fish, swim, hang out on a hammock, photograph, socialize, and cook/eat. Only one portage is planned for going in and the same one going out. No pets; no children under 18. Must be a member of Rovers to participate. Estimated cost: $85. Deposit: $50. Max trip size: 6.
