Canoeing in the Boundary Waters — Fall Lake, Ely, MN

Description:

Let’s go Boundary Waters canoe tripping! I’ve got the permit. Beginners Welcome! Must be a Rover member. Paddle about 5-6 hours/day. Small amenities encouraged. Meet at Fall Lake Friday July 29 @ 9am, start paddling 10am. Fall Lake allows wheels….so no canoe or gear to carry over the portages!
$100 fee includes: entrance/camping fee, regular diet camping meals& snacks (fishing encouraged) and Rover equipment. Please bring additional food if restrictions or on a special diet. (note the no can/bottle rule) Water purifier provided. Jet boil and fire pit used for cooking. I will help you get outfitted if you do not have your own gear. Not included is toilet paper, transportation, and post trip lunch out.
Last day to sign up is July 1st. Final details, gear lists, etc. to be announced after the group is established. Please check out the BWCAW website for helpful information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
