A spectular 78-mile bicycle loop which crests three Colorado Mountain passes-Fremont Pass (elevation 11,318), Tennessee Pass (elevation 10,424) and Vail Pass (elevation 10,666). This is the area of the famous 10th Mountain Division. Total elevation gain for the course is 5,981 ft. We’ll take cars out early to acclimate and do some day hikes/bikes while there to get used to the elevation. People can fly out if they like but should show up 3 days early to acclimate. There is camping available nearby or we can lodge it. Register for the event early as it fills up!
Estimated cost: $120-$135 registration fee for the event plus transportation and camping/lodging costs. Deposit: $135. Max trip size: unlimited.
