Paddle Rice Creek Chain of Lakes

Description:

Come paddle the scenic and undeveloped upper section of the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Regional Park Reserve, now the largest park in the Twin Cities metro area. Meet at 10:00 at the landing by the Lake Peltier dam. We’ll paddle through several lakes and channels and should see lots of waterfowl and other birds. We’ll turn around when we feel like it and paddle back to our cars. Easy lake paddling with wide channels between lakes; no current to worry about.
