Looking for a good strenuous morning hike? Want to explore some of the best hiking trails in this part of the Twin Cities? Curious about the raptors and displays at the Richardson Nature Center? Looking for something active to do before the 11:00 AM Minnesota Rovers Trip Coordination Workshop in Edina?
Join us for a 7-8 mile hike of the woodland and prairie trails of north and central Hyland Lake Regional Park beginning at the Richardson Nature Center.
This time of year, the turf, dirt, wood chip and rocky trails of the park typically are wet and may have mud or standing water in places so bring waterproof boots or a change of footwear for after the hike. A drinking water container, snack, additional clothing for layering or to change into for after the hike, rain gear and a small towel are good to have for day hiking this time of year.
Free parking. Drinking water and modern toilets available inside the nature center.
Where: Richardson Nature Center, 8737 East Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington, MN 55438
When: 8:00 AM to about 10:30 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018
