- Max Trip Size: 20 people
Join us for an early summer hike in scenic Banning State Park on the Kettle River! It’s a great location for Rovers from the Twin Cities, Duluth, and St. Cloud to get together.
We will hike about 6-7 miles, including along the river. Bring your lunch. We’ll do a 2.5 to 3 mile loop including the popular Quarry Loop trail in the morning, stopping back at the picnic area for lunch. For those who wish to continue, we will do a different loop in the afternoon.
- A few of us will be training for backpacking trips, so feel to bring your pack. (You don’t need to hike with a heavy pack to join us!)
- This is a day trip, so non-members are welcome. Bring a friend!
- This is a family friendly trip. Bring the kids!
- Well-behaved dogs allowed on a leash. Please clean up after your dog.
What to bring:
