Description:

Enjoy a winter wonderland at the Itasca State Park Hostel.  Ski in/ski out and snowshoe on groomed trails – both classic and skate.  Hike to headwaters of Mississippi River nearby, take a night walk on beautiful Lake Itasca, enjoy a good book in front of the fireplace and play board/card games.  One of the best value Rover winter trips held every year for more than 25 years.  It includes 3 nights lodging over Presidents Day weekend and 8 meals (Saturday breakfast – Monday lunch).  This popular trip always fills, so sign up quickly.  Deposit is non-refundable if a replacement can not be found.  Contact Fran for registration.  Preferably by e-mail.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
