Description:

Sail a 39′ sloop in Apostles. Sail, anchor, swim, walk beaches (not a hiking trip). Listen to the waves, sails flap, boat rocking for music 🙂 Drive up on Aug 1st, arr. @ 6pm, load gear/food on boat, overnight on boat, sail Fri, Sat, Sun, clean boat, drive back. Share food, gas expenses. Boat down payment $364/person. Usually anchor overnight in Presque Isle Bay, possibly sail to Outer Island, snorkel/swim, hike beach. Back to Julian Bay overnight. Sail to Big Bay Madeline for a swim. Head in to dock by 4, Sunday. Wind determines where we sail to, but that’s a typical itinerary.

Need Rover membership for an overnight trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
