- Group 2 ride more 30-92 miles connecting with the Chippewa River State Trail at a faster pace
Let’s ride share if we can, contact me with if you want to ride-share and let me know what area of town you are leaving from for the ride. I can take one bike and passenger and live in Roseville.
Afterwards, we meet for lunch at a the Lucette Brewery – which has amazing stone fired pizza!!
This 14.5-mile Red Cedar rail trail shadows the steep walls of the Red Cedar Valley from Menomonie to its connection with the Chippewa River State Trail. Along its route, the trail passes through the communities of Irvington and Downsville and the Dunnville State Wildlife Area. The trail passes by prairies, marshland bottoms, forests and farmlands, including sandstone bluffs and other unique rock formations. In the Dunnville Wildlife Area, the Red Cedar trail connects to the Chippewa River State Trail.
NOTE: A State Trail Pass ($25 annually/$5 daily) is required for bicyclists, ages 16 and older on the Red Cedar State Trail. For information, go to dnr.wi.gov /topic/parks/trailpass.html.
