Join me for trip to the Northland. We’ll explore Denali National park and do one day of vigorous hiking up Mount Healy, and another day hiking more moderate trails within the park. Travel to Talkeenta to explore the quaint climbing town and trip cost estimate includes a glacial flight tour. Enjoy the scenic drive to Girdwood, and hike up or take the tram up Mount Alyeska. We’ll take a day trip to Hope, too. Lodging will be wall tents in Denali, a hostel in Talkeenta, and a hotel in Girdwood.
Flight in/out of Anchorage; spend three nights in Denali, two nights in Talkeetna, and two nights in Girdwood. Estimated trip cost is $1,700 including flights, lodging, car rental, and glacial flight tour.
