——————————————–

This is the first Rovers Porcupine Mountains Mindfulness Retreat trip.

We are immensely fortunate to have Laura, a fully trained Mindfulness trainer and certified Yoga instructor in our Rovers midst, who is excited to share her expertise and wisdom with us pro bono and has tailored a detailed program especially for us and welcoming to beginners and as well as more experienced levels. She will be introducing us to Mindfulness Practice, Yoga, Tai Chi and Qigong (outside as weather permits).

This is a wonderful opportunity to use this time between the seasons to make us more relaxed and resilient for our adventure and mundane year to come.

We have the Kaug Wudjoo Lodge which is directly at the shore of Lake Superior.  We can enjoy the lake and the forest straight from walking out the door of the lodge.

We would like to keep meal prep and cleanup work to a minimum so we will have each participant sign up to own a meal including prep and cleanup and we encourage to prep the meal as much in advance as possible. (E.g. cook the soup at home to heat up at the lodge and prep the salad to go with it so it only has to be tossed with the dressing at the lodge, etc.)
