Mountain Biking / Paddling / Camping — Chisholm, MN

Category: Bicycling, Camping, Paddling

Sat - TueJun 12 - Jun 152021
  • Estimated Cost: $25
  • Max Trip Size: 10 people
Description:

Join us for some mountain biking at Redhead Mountain Bike Park and paddling nearby. We’ll be camping at McCarthy Beach State Park. You can paddle the lakes right at the park and there’s nice hiking and mountain biking there too.

You will need to book your own campsite. It looks like there are only a couple left, so if you’re interested, snap those up quickly! Another option would be Chisolm Iron Trail Campground and I imagine that will also fill soon.

We plan to arrive Saturday morning and leave on Tuesday, but you can feel free to come and go whenever.

Tentative plan:

  • Saturday: Arrive at Redhead and arrive, drive 20 min to McCarthy State Park, camp
  • Sunday: Ride Redhead again or drive 40 min. to Lookout Mountain to ride
  • Monday: Paddle in the park, camp
  • Tuesday: Head out, possibly ride at Tioga (1 hr. to Grand Rapids)

Please RSVP to claim your spot.

Coordinator(s):
Scott & Jodi S.
