There are a lot of sections of the Luce Line Trail. This ride is on the REGIONAL trail that leaves from near the Trailhead building at Theodore Wirth Park and goes out to Vicksburg Lane in Plymouth. Near Vicksburg it becomes a limestone trail and is called the Luce Line State Trail.
Our section is about 8-9 miles out to Plymouth, so a total of about 18 miles round trip. It is a flat paved trail.
The trail is a combination of city, commercial and greenery.
We will pass the Luce Line Brewery about 3/4 of the way to Vicksburg Lane. They are open on Saturday from 12 pm – 10 pm.
There are several options for food if we want and a few are 4-8 blocks off the trail.
Lund’s & Byerly’s Golden Valley Store; Schuller’s Tavern, right areas the trail in Golden Valley, Domino’s Pizza one block up Vicksburg at the halfway point. There are also o bunch of places to eat in the Winnetka Ave/Golden Valley Road area.
Let me know if you are interested and I can provide meeting details.
Non-members will need to sign a waiver.
