Almost full moon paddle
Monday night is the full moon, however storms are in the forecast. A day or two before or after, the moon is close to full. Sunday night it is supposed to be clear, but winds of 10 to 20 mph are in the forecast. Saturday night looks good and a little less windy.
Meet at Long Lake in New Brighton at the south end off of 694 at 6:15, launch at 6:30. Moonrise is at 6:44, sunset at 7:16. It will be a little windy but less than Sunday night. Bring headlamp or flashlight, water, snack if desired. It will be coolish. PFD required to be worn.
We should be off the water by 9. If people are interested, there are several local pubs with outdoor seating for post paddle food and/or beverage.
Please let me know if you are coming and also if you think you want to go out afterward. Waivers required for non-members.
