Please join me for a hilly and scenic 5 mile hike at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park. THIS IS NEAR HASTINGS, NOT HINCKLEY – very close to the Twin Cities and down the road from Afton State Park.
Meet on Wednesday, November 10, at 10 a.m. at the parking lot near the tennis courts. It appears from the map that after you enter the park that there is a fork in the road. Turn LEFT to get to the parking lot near the tennis courts. There is a restroom nearby. See the link to the park map at the bottom of this message.
Please bring a snack and water as well as hiking poles. We might want to linger and enjoy the view.
HIKING BOOTS AND HIKING POLES recommended because we will hike up steep hills and steep stairs to get the views of the valley and river. I have not hiked here before and am using a book “The Best Hikes of the Twin Cities” to encourage visiting parks not in my usual circuit.
