While we have the snow and I have my yearly ski pass I want to get out to Dakota Country parks as much as I can. So let me know if you would like to join me. The trails were in excellent shape when I was out there recently.
It will be intermediate skiing because there are hills to go up and down. We could make it a little more beginner like by picking easier trails, but can’t totally avoid all the hills. The pace will be moderate because I’m not a fast skier. We’ll be out for an hour and a half or so.
Email me if you plan on coming or have any questions. If you are not a Rover member please fill out the online waiver form below.
Meet at the Camper Cabin Parking Lot which is the first left turn shortly after entering the park (not the main trailhead further into the park). Unfortunately the sign is obscured by the snowbank right now.
Other directions: Address: 17100 Station Trail, Farmington. Some GPS’s may take you to the east side of the park where there is a dog park. Don’t go there. You need to get on to highway 3 and then from there go east on 170th Street and right on Station Road. Don’t come down Biscayne because it is a gravel road and partially snow covered.
