This is a relative slow walk around Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis. I project that the pace will be about 24 minutes per mile, so it is more of a “stroll” than a hike. It will likely take about 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes to complete the walk. If you like to walk at a faster pace, then this is not the hike for you. Dogs are welcomed, and there is one already going.
We will meet at the mulch pile in the parking lot at the north end of the lake. This is a free lot, and NOT the pay lot near the beach and restaurant. When you stand at the mulch pile and look at the lake, you should see a couple of canoe racks with personal canoes on them, not rentals.
Please contact me by e-mail or text if you are planning on going, and contact me if you are having trouble finding our group. I would like to leave on time.
