- Max Trip Size: 15 people
Let’s enjoy an autumn morning together! Join me for a hike on Saturday, October 14th at Hyland Lake Park Reserve. We’ll leave from the Visitor Center at 9:30 a.m. for a hike of 1.5ish hours. Well-socialized dogs are allowed. Per Three Rivers policy, they must be on a 6-foot leash and are allowed on paved and turf trails. Bring your rain gear (we hike rain or shine), water, snacks. Plan on a modest speed of 2.5 – 3 miles per hour. We’ll socialize for a little bit afterwards. There is a snack bar in the Visitor Center.
This park is near the intersection of Highway 100 and 494 in Bloomington. Get directions from Hyland Lake Park Reserve’s website. We’ll leave from the Visitor Center (10145 Bush Lake Road, Bloomington, MN 55438) at 9:30 a.m. (Don’t go to Richardson Nature Center! That’s a different place.)
Dress for the weather and wear appropriate footwear. Bring water and a snack if you want.
Guests are welcome, so bring a friend! You do not need to be a member to come on day trips. But if you are not a current member, please submit the trip waiver at the bottom of this posting. (Thanks!)
Let me know if you’re coming so that I have a general idea of the size of the group.
