Trip Full Wait List OpenCategory: Bicycling

Sat - SunJun 22 - Jun 232024
  • Estimated Cost: $20
  • Max Trip Size: 8 people
Description:

This is the culmination of the Beginning Bike Camping Program–you’re now adequately prepped, and ready for the journey!

We’ll take an overnight trip to a Metro-area campground, little concerned about when we arrive because of peak summer daylight hours. Staying together as a group, we’ll travel on roads and/or trails 30-40 miles from our gathering point (equalling a 60-80 mile roundtrip). We’ll share the cost of the campsite; food will be your responsibility.  Rovers membership is required.

Given this is a new program, I’d like to learn the level of interest by January 31, before committing to making campground reservations. Looking for a minimum of 4 people by the 31st to move forward, with an eventual maximum of 8.

Coordinator(s):
Tom Y.
