Possible activities:
- Over 20 miles of hiking trails in the park
- Swimming beach – 5-minute walk from camp
- Paddling on the lake or Long Prairie River State Water Trail. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/watertrails/longprairieriver/index.html
- Biking on the Central Lakes State Trail. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_trails/central_lakes/index.html

The cost for the trip covers camping and firewood, and is a great price whether you attend four nights or less. We will have a potluck supper on Friday night, but the rest of your meals will be on your own, unless someone wants to volunteer to organize a group meal.
Carpooling is strongly encouraged for economic and ecological reasons and we’ll provide a Google doc to facilitate this.
Four spots will be reserved until August 1 for new Rovers.
You need to be a current member and pay the deposit to be on the trip.
Park is approximately 2-hours from Mpls. at 2601 County Road 38 Northeast, Carlos, MN 56319. Check out the “360° virtual tour”. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/park.html?id=spk00211#homepage
