- Max Trip Size: 20 people
Join us for a scenic hike of the two Interstate Parks near Taylors Falls. We will meet at 9:50 am at the Visitor Center of the Minnesota Interstate Park. From there we will walk cross the bridge over the St Croix River and hike 3-4 miles along beautiful trails with stunning views of the river and then back along a ridge line to the park entrance. On return to the parking lot of the Minnesota Interstate Park, we will do the short pothole hike there. For those who want to participate, we will have lunch at a downtown Taylor Falls restaurant following the hike.
Please wear hiking shoes with good traction. We will do introductions at 9:50 and start hiking right at 10. Please let Heidi or Doug know if you are planning to attend.
Remember we will be meeting at the MINNESOTA Interstate Park Visitors Center, NOT the Wisconsin Interstate Park Visitors Center. (No need to pay the WI parks fee that way.) The visitor center is at the foot of the bridge in Taylors Falls near the intersection of highways 2095 and 8. This is NOT the southern parking area near the park office.
