Come and join me to explore the birds that migrate through and breed at River Bend Nature Center. Many of the migrating song birds are back now and beginning to raise the next generation. We will likely see or hear warblers, sparrows, wrens, flycatchers, woodpeckers, thrushes and vireos common in this area. Bring your binoculars and bird book (optional) and park in the main parking lot. We will hike to various locations and then stop and listen and observe the birds that are present, then move on to the next location. Total distance will be about 2-3 miles. We can also observe any interesting wildflowers or other plants if desired.
Meet at River Bend Nature Center main parking lot, 1000 Rustad Road, Faribault, MN 55021.
