Please join me for a 9-mile medium-fast* hike at beautiful Lebanon Hills Regional Park. We are starting early since the temps are expected to rise to 80°F by noon as of this writing. Minimal rain is also in the forecast, so bring rain gear if desired. We will be hiking through shaded woods for the majority of the hike. The main visitor center (bathrooms & water) will be available near the halfway point of the hike.
Meet at the SW corner of the Jensen Lake parking lot. Here is the starting location Please plan ahead so we can leave on time.
Bring water and snacks, as desired. Dress according to the weather.
A limited number of well-behaved dogs are welcome. Please contact me if you plan to bring a dog so we don’t end up with too many. Dogs will be given a few opportunities to cool off in a lake.
Non-Rovers are welcome! Please submit the online liability waiver below.
Send me an email or text to sign up so I can let you know if there are any last-minute changes (and yes, they do happen! Road closures, weather changes, etc.)
*My definition of a medium-fast hike is 17-19 minutes per mile, 3.2-3.5 mph. This is the moving speed. Steep hills will slow the pace. We will also take breaks as desired. If you find you cannot keep up with the group, please be willing to notify me and continue the hike on your own so that the group can hike at this pace.
