- Max Trip Size: 8 people
Let’s plan on doing up to a 6-mile hike in Lebanon Hills Regional Park Friday morning starting promptly at 9:30 am from the Holland Lake trail head parking lot. We’ll figure on a 3-mile/hour pace or better which, if it doesn’t sound “brisk” enough for you, realize that the route is designed to go up and down more hills—they don’t call it Lebanon Hills for nothing. The not so early start time (designed to give you more time to get to the start on a busier traffic day) will mean we’ll finish with temps in the 80s and undesirable dew points, so think about bringing water and a snack. There is water and bathrooms at the start, and at about mile 3.7 of our hike, when we reach the Visitor Center at Schulze Lake.
Meet at the Holland Lake trail head parking lot, entered at the end of Lexington Avenue off Cliff Road. Plan to be there on time! Please email or text me if you’re planning to come. And if you’re not a Rover, please sign the release below. All dogs on a leash are welcome.
