Beginner Backpacking unofficial practice trip — Afton State Park, MN

Join two beginner backpackers for an unofficial 1-night trip. (Our scheduled trip was rained out!) We’ll meet at Afton State Park’s Visitor Center at 4:30pm on Friday, September 5, do the requisite shake-down, hike for a bit, then set up camp. Right now we have 1 site reserved, but adjacent sites are available, and there’s also still availability for those who would like to make it a 2-night trip.
