- Max Trip Size: 8 people
Let’s continue doing a little training for future Fall hikes, backpacking, or even–dare I say cross country skiing–by doing a brisk, one-stop 4.8 mile (7.7 km) hike in Lebanon Hills Regional Park Friday afternoon starting promptly at 3:00 pm from the Holland Lake trail head parking lot. We will plan on a 3.5 -mile/hour no stopping pace, our one stop being at the A-frame (and satellite) at mile 2.7. I’ll likely bring a route map/cue sheet for anyone not planning to keep up.
The route reverses the latter part of our Labor Day hike, and again is designed to go up and down more hills. Water and bathrooms are available at the trail head. With the temp predicted to exceed 80 degrees, bringing water is suggested. Meet at the Holland Lake trail head (the parking lot is entered at the end of Lexington Avenue off Cliff Road). Plan to be there on time!
Please email me if you’re planning to come, whether you’re a member or not. IN ADDITION, if you’re not a Rover, please sign the release below. All well-behaved dogs on a leash are welcome.
