Backcountry Film Festival — Trylon Cinema, 2820 E 33rd St, Mpls, MN

Category: Other Winter Activities

Thu, 6:30pm - 8:30pmDec 132018
  • Estimated Cost: $15
Description:

Join me to see the Backcountry Film Festival when it hits Minneapolis on Thursday, December 13.  The entire show is a series of shorts that runs from 7:00-8:30 PM.  Let’s plan to meet up outside the theater at 6:30 PM so we can sit together.

More information, trailer and tickets at www.backcountryfilmfestival.org

You should purchase your ticket in advance $15 to secure a seat; I heard they are selling fast and may need to add a second showing.

Backcountry skiing (basically, skiing off trail) has been exploding out west, in the east, Europe, all over – but not so much here.  We may not have the big mountains, but there is one organization who is working to make it happen here – Superior Highland Backcountry which will benefit from film festival proceeds.

After-the-show eats/drinks/conversation will be at the Blue Door Pub, 3448 42d Avenue, just a short drive from the theater.
