Description:

Leaving early afternoon on Thursday. The route is 24 miles between the Gunflint Trail and Judge Magney State Park, (19 miles is a possibility). This segment features the following: panoramic views of Lake Superior, the Devil Track River, and Kadunce River gorges, a unique high, wet area with foot bridges, and the only part of the SHT located directly on the shoreline. This is not a beginner trip. Prior backpacking experience is necessary. Plan to bring your own food and be available to share a tent with another person. Call Mark to sign up or to ask questions. Estimated cost: 30. Deposit: 20. Max trip size: 6.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
