Join me in doing a 16- to 20-mile backpacking trip on the (Minnesota Rovers own) Border Route Trail. We will be going up early on Thursday and returning Sunday. We will go in Friday morning at either the South Lake or Crab Lake entrance and exit at Clearwater. I’m planning on cool, sunny and bug free hiking on a trail with some of the best overlooks in the state. This is not a beginner trip. You will be responsible for your own food. No “new boots.” You may have to tent with another person if necessary, so be prepared for that. Estimated cost: $70. Deposit: $30. Max trip size: 6.
