Backpacking on the Superior Hiking Trail

Spring is a great time to be on the SHT with the forest coming to life again after a long winter and I’m looking forward to having a few fellow Rovers join me on this backpacking trip.

The route will probably be around the Lutsen/Lake Agnes area. (18-20 miles) We will leave Thursday by late morning, start hiking Friday morning, and return on Sunday. This is not a beginner trip, as you will be responsible for your own food and be willing to tent with another person if necessary. If the snow isn’t gone (or almost gone) in that area in a couple of weeks, I will move the trip to early June. If interested give me a call.
