Bayfield Peninsula Camping. Join us at the Melberg family site in Frog Bay on Lake Superior, just north of Bayfield, WI. Pitch your tent near the beach or find a secluded spot up in the woods. Daytime activities are up to the individuals/group – a spreadsheet will be shared to help plan activities and equipment. Options include bike rides, hiking one of the multitude of trails, swimming, kayaking, canoeing; the lake might even be warm enough to go swimming. We will have the traditional evening campfires on the beach. The $20 deposit includes shared meals, which are breakfast on Saturday& Sunday, and dinner Saturday. Friday is pot luck. Transportation costs are not included in estimate. This is an easy going trip – all the benefits of car camping at a fairly remote location.
