Beginner Winter Camping

Sat - SunMar 10 - Mar 112012
Description:

Beginner Winter Camping at a state park on the North Shore. The trip will depend on the weather, if the temperature is above 32 degrees and rain is predicted the trip will be on the following weekend. At this point we will leave the cities on Saturday at 6:00 a.m. and return Sunday evening. We will camp at either Gooseberry or Split Rock State Parks. Its a nice time to winter camp with generally milder temperatures and more daylight. This is a car camp so you can bring extra clothes and camping gear to spend your first wintercamping night out comfortably. Have a ski pass that you purchase in the cities ahead of time. I can help you with clothing and equipment choices, call for additional details.

Estimated cost: share transportation & camping expenses. Deposit: no deposit. Max trip size: open.
