  • Estimated Cost: $20

  • Max Trip Size: 10 people
Description:

Join us for a beginners winter camping trip to Banning State Park. This trip will introduce people to cold weather camping by staying in the regular car campground allowing campers to bring extra clothes and gear to spend their first winter night out comfortably. I can help you with clothing and equipment choices, the idea is to use the winter items you may have, bringing extra things and not buying anything. Rover have sleeping bags, pads, tents, etc for your use. Banning is a beautiful park with nice trails, especially along the Kettle river and a historic rock quarry to visit. The cliffs along the river usually nice icecicle features on the cliff faces. Saturday night group chilli supper/dutch oven cake desert provided. Call Basil for details at 651-774-2640.
