Bicycling / Paddling at Cuyuna Lakes

Fri - SunSep 5 - Sep 72014
  • Estimated Cost: $15
  • Max Trip Size: 20 people
Description:

You get to choose the activities for the weekend. We will be camping at Portsmouth Campground at Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area and enjoying all the great outdoor activities this area has to offer. Options include the best singletrack mountain biking in the state (for all ability levels), miles of paved road biking, SUP, kayaking or canoeing (bike, board, boat rentals available), swimming, hiking, or fishing.

We plan on spending most of the time mountain biking and hope to do some paddling or trying a stand up paddleboard as well. Join us for a little adrenaline, a little water time, a little chilling by the fire and a lot of fun…and perhaps a few shenanigans!

The campsites are first come, first serve. Last year at the same time, there were plenty of campsites to choose from, we’re hoping for the same this year.

Bring your own food, plan a pot luck, or head into town (Crosby) for a bite to eat.

Estimated cost: $15 + rentals or anything else you choose to do. Deposit: $0. Max trip size: 20.
