Description:

Camp, bike, and paddle in the Driftless Area of southwest Wisconsin (near Winona), where 382 miles of paved rolling backroads yearn to be ridden. Camp at Pietrek County Park on the Trempealeau River. Arcadia Broiler Dairy Days is a small town festival, 5 miles from our campground, which will provide optional entertainment opportunities throughout the weekend. Food will be on your own and pot luck for Sunday dinner.

Saturday: Memorial Bike Tour. Four route options range from 10 to 60+ miles, with the long tour being a metric century with a mile high of cumulative climbing. Registration includes Gold ’n Plump Chicken! (Register the morning of the ride; $20 per person or $35 for a family.)

Sunday: Paddle the intimate, wild, woodland environment of the Trempealeau River or drive farther south and explore the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge

Monday: Bike another back road loop on our own.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Membership is required on overnight trips (except for Extravaganza and Border Route Trail work trips).

It is the responsibility of both the trip coordinators and the participants to discover and share information related to each others’ experience and capabilities regarding trip-related activities and responsibilities.

It is also club policy that waiver forms be signed by all people participating in Rover events.
